1.The hardest altered portrait to create was the cracked face portrait because it was something totally new than what we have never done before to where we had to watch a tutorial and I still got a little confused while watching it.

2.The easiest altered portrait was the image overlay because all we had to do was take multiple photos and overlay them on top of each other and change the opacity of the other images.

3.To a viewer a altered portrait can just mean an image that is changed a little using photoshop. To a photographer a altered portrait can mean many different things it can mean a image overlay photo, a Cyanotype photo, or even a backlit image. To photographers there are many different types of altered images.

4.Out of the seven photos I will most likely crate the backlit image again because it is one of my favorite and it is an image I am confidante about that I can create it to look good because I am not the best at photoshop and I feel like the backlit image is one I can do good on.

5.The historical significant behind the sepia alter techniques if that it makes an image look like an old photo to where the image can look like it was taken from many years ago but in reality it was not.

6.It is important for us to learn about these altered portrait because some of these editing techniques could be very useful on other  photos we edit.

7.I think only some photos should be altered because depending on how good of a photographer you are could depend on wether the photo he already good as the original photo. I think that some photos that are the original photos can look good but some images may not look as good and should have been altered to make it look better.

8.By altering a portrait it allows you do do many things with it. It allows you to change the color of the portrait to make it look old fashioned or you can make it have multiple layers of an image to make it look like there is movement in the image. It can also allow you to add to the image if you are good at photoshop to make the image look totally different.

Blur Motion Before Questions

   1. Blur Motion is when a photo is taken and in the photo it has motion. It has some blur movement but it also has a clear image of something as well.

2.To create a blur motion image you need a camera that can change shutter speed to make it slower. You also need a subject to take a photo of.

   3. My subject might be of a person and what they will be doing is either a walk, run, or even a jump or something. I am not really sure what else I could really do.

4.To get the blur motion image to work on the camera you have to slow down the shutter speed and if you do that then you should be able to get it to work.

5.All of these images were taken with a slow shutter speed and because of that it makes the images have a little blur. In each image there is at least a spot that has no blur and you can still tell what is happening in the photo.

Blur Motion after questions

1.Blur motion is an image taken where some of the image is blurry while some of it is clear. In the image you can also tell what is happening in the image.

2.To create a blur motion image you have to slow down the shutter speed and keep the camera still to get a blur motion image. You have to have an object moving in the image.

3.In photo shop we alter the images lightly, not to much editing but we altered the brightness of the image and we could have changed the color to black and white or add burns and dodge.

4.The difficult part of the blur motion was taking the images. It was a new way of taking images for me so it was a little difficult adjusting to taking these kinds of images. Also trying to figure out what to do next for an image a little difficult to do as well.

5.The easy thing about editing these images is that we did not need to to major edits just little edits that did not take that long to do. The easy part about shooting these images was we were taking pictures with people I knew so it was easy to do some of the thinks we did for the images unlike if I were to take pictures with people I did not know I would be to shy to do some of those things.

Forced perspective questions

1.My images are of my group doing things to make the image be tricked by making it look like things are bigger than they actually are. There is a photo of someone holding someone while another person is holding them.

2.These images use forced perspective because they trick the camera to make it seem like things are bigger or smaller than they really are.

3.we crated these images by trial and error when we took the photos we had to decide if someone moves closer or moves further back.

4.The thing that is hard about these photos is you have to get the image just right and you have to position your models to the perfect spot to make it look like they are holding something but they actually are not.

5.the line of sight affects the image because if you don't have the right line if sight the photo wont come out right. The depth of field helps you get the whole image and it helps to make things look different from what they are.The distance is what helps the object look bigger or smaller in the image .

Independent Project after questions

1.I chose to do minimalist photography. I chose to do this because when I saw this type of photography so many ideas came to my head although some did not turn out how I wanted to.

2.What I did to get my images was to go to places that had mainly empty space so I could shoot my photos.

3.The type of editing I did was mostly changing the tone and color of the images but I also cropped some of the images and I took some things out of images using the patch edit.

4.What I learned about minimalist photography is that it is really fun to do and sometimes it is a little hard to take images if you do not have the right materials to do it. It also looks easier then it actually is.

5.What I found difficult to was trying to find space that was empty also to create an idea for the photo like how its gonna look and what type of angle you are going to use.

6.I think for my first time taking this type of photography they came our really nice and I like how most of them came out but they could also be better there is always room to improve on what to take picture of and how its going to look.

7.I am not really sure what I am going to do for my next independent project it is something I have to look in to but I want to take photos of something that I will enjoy taking photos of.

Independent Project II before Questions

1.The type of photography I chose for my second project is water drop photography. I wanted to do this because it looked very interesting to me and it looked pretty cool to do.

2.For this project I plan to use a ziplock bag to hold the water and poke a whole in it so it makes water drops.I will have the camera where the water drops land and take the photos.

3.For my images I will need a colored background for color and so you can see the drop of water. and a ziplock bag to hold the water.

4.I will shoot these images at my house and take photos of them inside I will some how get the ziplock bag to drop water while I take a photo.

   5. I wanted to do this type of photography because it looked very interesting to me and it looked like it would be very fun to play with to see what I can do.

Independant Project II After Questions

   1. I choose to do water drop photography. Water drop photography looked very interesting to me and it looked very fun to do so thats why a choose it.

2.To take these photos I tied a bag of water to one of my moms chairs and I was able to get a bowl filled with water underneath and I was able  to take these photos .

3.To edit my photos I cropped most of them to get a closer view of the water drops and then I fixed the brightness and color on some of the photos.

4.What I learned about these photos is that they are not that hard to take if you get the hang of the timing and if you are able to get the right set up.

5.Something I found difficult for this type of photography was the timing it took me a bit to get used to I had lots of photos of nothing but the water and it did not have the water drops.

6.I think they came out really good but they could be way better the backgrounds are a bit plain and I could of added more to it.

7.I am not really sure what I am gonna do for for my next project but I think that I might do black and white still life photography. I am planning to take pictures wit multiple objects in it but with things I like to make a still life photography.

Independent Project III before questions.

   1. The type of photography I choose to do was black and white still life photography. Its when a small group of objects are together is a still photograph.

2.I will most likely take most of my photos in my house on a table to try and capture the best photos.I will use things I find around the house.

3.For my photos I really would not say there is any thing specific I need for my photos the location will be my house and I will just use objects I find around the house.

4.I will most likely be shooting these images in my house but I could also take them somewhere else but they will probably be on my dining room table.

5.I wanted to try this type of photography because it seemed pretty interesting to me and I feel like I may be able to do some creative things with this project.

3.On my pictures I made all of them black and white because they are suppose to be black and white still life photos.

4.What I learned doing this type of photography was that you can really do a lot with a photo if you have the right mind to do it you could capture anything you want to.

5.One thing I would a little difficult was where and what I should put the images to make them look nice.

6.I really like how they came out overall for my first time doing this type of photography I like how they came out.

7.For my next independent project I am thinking of doing macro photography I have already done this last year but I like doing macro photography and I feel like It would be nice to do something I am familiar with.

Independent Project IV Before questions

1.The type of photography I chose to do is indoor macro photography.Indoor macro photography if just macro photography but its photos using indoor objects.

2.To take these images I will be indoors and be taking photos of objects Inside the house to make them macro photography.

3.For my images I will be using  house hold items and I will most likely be using a new camera for the zoom in lens to get a good photo of the macro image.

4.I will be shooting these images at home or one of my tias house to take my photos.Since it is indoor photography I will be taking my photos inside.

5.I want to do this type of photography because macro photography is one of my favorite types of photography and I have been doing new types of photography for a while so it will be nice to do something I am familiar with.

Independent Project IV After Questions

1.I chose to do my project on indoor macro photography because it is something I am familiar with.I have been doing new projects and I just wanted to do something I liked to do.

2.To get my images I just went around my hose looking for objects I thought would be good to do macro photography on.

3.The editing I did on my images were all deferent I did some black and white while others I just did some minor tweaks. I did them to try and make the images look better.

4.What I learned about this photography it that what you picture in your mind it may not look like what you have I thought of some ideas and they did not turn out so good. It is also a little difficult to find good objects because last time I did macro they were on flowers.

5.What I found a little difficult was finding good objects to take a photo of to make the photo actually look good.

6.Overall I think they could be better I really like a few of them but then there are some to where I think I could have done much better on like doing another object to a different background .

7.For my next independent project but this time it will be a new type of photography that I have not done yet.

Independent Project V before Questions

1.The type of photography I have chosen is portrait photography. I will be doing photography of peoples faces from the shoulders up.

2.To take these photos I will need a model to take pictures of and I will most likely use one of my friends or a family member.

3.for my images I will get a model and I would preferably want a blank background but I am not rally sure if I will be able to but I will try.

4.To shoot my images will either take them at the park or indoors. They may also be taken outside like a backyard or something.

5.I want to try this type of photography because I had a really good time in the black box taking portrait photography and I want to see what type of photos I could take outside of school.

Independent Project V After Questions

1.I chose to do my project on portrait photography from the head and shoulders above. I chose to do this because I had fun taking portrait photos so I wanted to do my project on portrait photography.

2.To get my images I took some of them in the black box but I also took some at my tias house and I had them pose for me.

3.To edit my photos I added some filters to some and I also made some black and white and edited the brightness and color to my images.

4.What I learned about this photography is that I lot of people in my family do not like posing because it was hard form me to find models but I also learned that there are a lot of different poses you could use but they do not always turn out the way you wanted them to .

5.What I found difficult was trying to find models to pose for me apparently most of my family does not like to pose for pictures.

6.Overall I think they came out great I really like most of them but I am not that proud o my edits because I am not really sure what to do for most of these pictures so I just tried to do some simple edits.

7.For my next Independent project I am not really sure what to do but I think I will do something new that I have not done before but I would like to do something I will have fun doing.
